A rose by any other name would smell as sweet

Man...it was so hot on Friday (and today!) Right after I finished filming a video for my Spanish class with a few other friends, I realized my camera still had some juice in it.

Gifted gray shirt, Papaya necklace, Anchor Blue jeans, Charlotte Russe flats, and left-over roses from Valentine's Day

Awesome! Gifted shirt for no obvious reason from my friend, she's awesome. It's thin enough for the summer, yet it's not too thin that I must wear layers underneath. Plus it looks gorgeous with jeans, skirts, and shorts. So I couldn't resist taking a few pictures...but if you happen to notice sweat, you know what to blame it on. The self-timer. Oh and I bumped into my tripod so it took another ten minutes to set it back up again. But it was worth it. Hopefully.

VINTAGE CHANEL GIVEAWAY?

NOWAI. ME NEITHER. I DIDN'T BELIEVE IT. BUT IT IS.

http://ddianakangg.blogspot.com/2011/03/vintage-chanel-giveaway.html

Diana Kang (click the link above for the post) is giving away a vintage Chanel for the price of: a Blog Lovin' follow, Google Connect follow, comment on the post, and a Like on the Blog Lovin' post (sounds like free advertising to me, just kidding!). Oh and extra brownie points for blogging it.

Fashion Week - London 2011!

And the favorite designer of the week...Temperley London (ha. what a coincidence)

I just love the old-style glamor some of the outfits radiate, the basic, down-to-earth style of others, and how the outfits just scream "complex" and "fun". Favorite designs of mine... (all images from LA Times)

More interesting designs that really caught my eye

Paul Costelloe
(very Lady Gaga-like, but more subdued)

Saloni
(I didn't exactly enjoy the rest of the collection as much as this dress because it was really predictable, but when I saw this, my mouth dropped to the ground. This is mysterious, elegant, and GORGEOUS)

Irwin & Jordan
(Snuggie with a hood...I want to try that)

Eun Jeong

PPQ
(very Lady Gaga-esque)

Kinder Aggugini
(the hats caught my eye - for the hatted (?) ones)

Touching my invisible hair

b-e) this gallery, actually when my hair grows out again, I think I'm going to submit myself to a round of hair torture and attempt to recreate these styles...unfortunately, my hair grows like the grass. Slow.

Everywhere I go now (even on the Internet) I see people with long hair, or at least hair that can be decorated with something else than a huge bow. What gives? What happened to the low-maintenance, awesome-looking short hair club? I mean, look at me, I don't look like a freak...much.

Long hair, sure you can style is as you wish, but short hair? It's a surprise whenever you wake up. Especially when your hair sticks up like the Wolverine in X-Men.

Miss-Matched

Sans Souci denim shirt, Claire's gloves, Forever 21 leggings, and Anne Michelle heels

This one's two days late, my crappy camera wasn't working with me...and sorry about the weird expression on my face, I think I was in the middle of a face when the self-timer went off.

Sunday was a cold day so I wore a denim shirt over a metallic skirt. Lovely, huh? That's why this is called Miss-matched. Mismatched, get it?

When I was posting this up, I was actually pretty surprised I didn't wear accessories that day. I usually wear necklaces or bracelets or rings (yes, even with my uniform)

And I really liked my makeup for that day (no close-ups, though). I wore Santee metallic-ish light green eyeshadow with a tad bit of eyeliner on the top lid.
